This is the MultiCam (OCP) Uniform patch for the Kansas National Guard. The patch is a circle approximately 2 1/2" in diameter. The main design is of a sunflower set against a dark backdrop. The sunflower is a traditional symbol of the state of Kansas. The dark background represents the original territory as part of the Louisiana Purchase. Also called shoulder sleeve insignia, this item is backed by hook-and-loop fasteners and is sold individually.
